Peter Trachtenberg 

Peter Trachtenberg is the author of 7 Tattoos: A Memoir in the Flesh and The Book of Calamities: Five Questions About Suffering and Its Meaning. He is a recipient of a Whiting Award, and his essays, journalism and short fiction have been published in The New Yorker, Harper’s, BOMB, and A Public Space. 

March 16th: Steven Church
Steven Church
Steven Church is the author of The Guinness Book of Me: A Memoir of Record, Theoretical Killings: Essays and Accidents, and, most recently, The After The Day After: My Atomic Angst. He is the founding editor of the literary magazine The Normal School and teaches in the MFA Program at Fresno State University. 

March 31st: David Lau, Library
David Lau

David Lau is the author of Virgil and the Mountain Cat. With Cal Bedient, he co-edits Lana Turner: A Journal of Poetry and Opinion. His poetry and essays have appeared in Boston Review, A Public Space, Sustainable Aircraft, High Chair, Denver Quarterly, Columbia: A Journal of Literature and Art, jubilat, Pool and elsewhere.


April 13th: Kathryn Ma, Hagerty Lounge 

Kathryn Ma

Kathryn Ma is the author of All That Work and Still No Boys, which was named a San Francisco Chronicle “Notable” Book and a Los Angeles Times “Discovery” Book. Her stories have been published in The Kenyon 

Review, Prairie Schooner, Threepenny Review and others.


April 27th: Rosemary Graham &
Rashaan Alexis Meneses
Rosemary Graham
Rosemary Graham holds a Ph.D. in American Literature from the University of Virginia.  She is the author of Thou Shalt Not Dump the Skater Dude and My Not-So-Terrible Time at the Hippie Hotel. Her third novel, Stalker Girl, was published in August of 2010.  She is a professor of English at Saint Mary’s College of CA. 

rashaan meneses

Rashaan Alexis Meneses earned her MFA from Saint Mary’s College of CA, where she was named a 2005-2006 Jacob K. Javits Fellow and awarded the Sor Juana Indes de La Cruz Scholarship for Excellence in Fiction.  She has recently published in Pembroke Magazine and Growing up Filipino II: More Stories for Young Adults.
